Anna has sewn her entire life, inheriting the talent from her grandmother. After studying fashion merchandising, she moved to Tampa, where she interned full-time for a commercial interior architecture firm while pursuing a degree in Architecture.
Upon accepting a position with the firm, she began working on various projects as a draftsman and designer. For seven years, she produced work for high-profile clients in the financial industry. While the work was satisfying, she felt stifled. She wasn't being as creative as she could be, and the corporate lifestyle never appealed to her.
Anna's love for design led her back to fashion. "The principles of design are universal," she says. "My architectural background helps me visualize and construct the pieces I design. I feel that experience was meant to be."
The name Instant Vintage! came to be when daydreaming with a girlfriend visiting from France. "We knew if she stayed in the States we'd have a shop in no time, filled with timeless clothing, accessories and housewares. We really felt our items would be something that would never go out of style and would suit even the most eclectic and sophisticated woman's taste." Inspired by this vision, Anna started designing wearable pieces of art that are both timeless classics and uniquely original.
